This unit has had no expense spared. Designed on the latest CAD Software and using nothing but the best materials sourced. One of the most portable 8" Trommel units on the market. Dont let this reasonably compact size fool you as this is no toy. This unit can process some serious yardage leaving most competitors with a trommel this size in their wake.

Made from 2 mm Aluminium construction, this unit is made to be light but yet strong enough to handle the punishment thrown at it. The 8" barrel is made from 2 mm Aluminium and comes with 13 mm holes as standard to keep this unit weight down, more portable but yet doesn't compromise its strength (a steel version of the barrel can be purchased in the store). Both Aluminium and Steel barrels come in 2 different sizes suitable for most applications (10 mm and 13 mm classifying holes). The unit is powered by a powerful 12 volt DC single speed motor so any 12 volt DC battery will work. All this is finished in a durable powder coated finish. We use Dulux powder coats being one of the market leaders in powder coatings systems.

In addition to the trommel top unit is the sluice run making this an almost complete turn key machine. The sluice run comes with our own designed gold tray in the top of the run to make sure you catch the most amount of gold before hitting the mats themselves. We use Gold Hog mats and Vortex Dream mat® in our sluice runs and have come up with a combination that works very well in the harsh Australian conditions. We spent 12 months testing this machine and modifying the mat combination (Gold Hog) to come up with what we think is quite simply the best all rounder mat combo. The mats catch large pickers to the smallest of fine mesh gold. We recommend the use of a 1.5" pump for this machine minimum as some of the mats we use require more water to create the capture zones needed. We use a small light weight lithium battery to power our trommels.
